Looking For A Proofread Descriptive Essay Sample About A Place

Okay, so you have been tasked with writing a descriptive essay about a place. It doesn’t matter if it is somewhere exotic, or somewhere closer to home you are still going to have to turn in a high-quality, polished paper. The place that you choose isn’t really relevant in the initial stages. However, getting a feel for the requirements of the essay and the format that you will need to use is crucial if you are to secure an above average grade. So, just where do you look for a checked descriptive essay example?

Here are my top tips:

Ask your teacher

I’d bet my last dollar that your teacher will have a stockpile of samples. Depending upon their nature they may willingly offer them up to the whole class, or if they are really Machiavellian they may decide to hold back and see which of their students is sensible enough to ask, rather than scratching around for an example elsewhere.

Other students

You are not the first student to be tasked with this particular assignment, nor will you be the last. Unless there is a change in government policy the curriculum that is taught by colleges rarely changes from year on year. So, there is a strong chance that former students will have examples that you can borrow. The only way that you can be sure that it has been proofread is if it has been marked by the teacher. Be wary of any that have not been validated as you could be unleashing a whole new can of worms.

The Internet

The internet is the “go to” place of most students these days. However, just like there are many golden nuggets to be found, there are also a lot of duds. Sites can make just about any claim that they want. The key is in validating their claims. I would suggest that as a bare minimum you dig around and see if you can find any negative reviews. You can often tell by how professional a site looks as to whether or not it is something that you wish to pursue further.

Google Scholar

Google Scholar is a brilliant and often underrated source. Incredibly easy to access it has examples on just about any subject that you could imagine. What’s more it is completely free of charge. I would definitely make this one of my first port of calls.

About Us

There are a lot of things that students do to make their essay writing task easier, but if they are short in time, then it is better not to experiment. They must only rely on sure and workable ideas which are tried and tested by the students for success.
